Sam Riegel does a pretty poor job as Nick. I blame the directing. A lot of my favorite voice actors have put in lackluster performances for MvC3. Also someone on twitter pointed out that he's supposed to say "Take That!" instead of "Take This!", and he responded that he just reads what's on the paper. Which says all that needs to be said about the people who wrote Phoenix's lines.
Troy Baker is an awesome Nova, though. Hell, Troy Baker's an awesome anything. Also this makes the Nova vs Wright gameplay trailers funny since Troy Baker is Yuri Lowell and Sam Riegel is Flynn Scifo.
Also D.C. Douglas (Wesker) is in one of them on Phoenix's team, and he's Alexei in Vesperia, which makes the joke funnier.
