CHAPTER 14
Since killing SenorHouseMouse, Nio hadn't done much. She instead preferred to stay where she was, stroking her various animals, cooing as she did it.
This was not a sight that Chrono1219 expected to see. When he saw somebody new he was immediately on his guard. Still a little frustrated by his inability to kill off JeffreyRaze earlier, this time he knew there would be no mistakes.
Nio, however, was more aware of her surroundings than she looked. She knew Chrono was there and whispered to Minio, "go get him". Minio immediately leapt from the basket and jumped towards Chrono.
Chrono didn't know exactly what was happening but knew that the creature was moving faster and with more purpose and aggression than any kitten he had ever seen before. He figured it would be bad news if it reached him so he pointed his gravity gun at it and fired. Minio was suspended in mid-air and Chrono jerked the gun upwards, sending Minio flying into the sky.
"MINIIIOOOOOOOO!" screamed Nio in anguish as Minio blasted off again.
On the Rising Taco, XIII was laughing at this until Minio crashed through one of the blimp's windows (yep, this is happening).
It attacked the first thing it saw - XIII. He fended himself off, shielding himself from Minio's sharp claws. "Help! Dammit, help!"
Back on the ground, Nio's anger and sadness was palpable. "Why would you do that?" she asked Chrono. He shrugged, which only served to further enrage Nio.
"ALL OF YOU. GET HIM! NOW!"
Suddenly all the animals leapt from Nio's basket and, at once, swarmed towards Chrono. Chrono yelled in fear and tried firstly to stop them with his gravity gun, but he only succeeded in firing away a couple of baby mice, which Nio caught. Eventually, Chrono realised that this was unwinnable and tried to escape. Sadly, it was too late. Though he turned and ran, the animals were already on top of him, weighing him down. He fought them off, but they were already gnawing at his skin.
It didn't take long for them to gnaw away at Chrono completely, leaving only a skeleton (the head of which fell off).
The animals returned to the basket and Nio rose from the ground. She was shaking with rage and attacked the skeletal corpse of Chrono, avenging Minio. Playtime was over as Nio finally joined the hunt.
