gotta remember that SW may have been stuck with two bad options - tell the two to stop kissing and make them angry, or not tell the to and have a bunch of passengers be angry - if this gets bad publicity then this may have been the wrong choice, but it doesn't even necessarily mean that the airline staff is homophobic
Also boycotting an airline because of this is just silly, it's an isolated incident that's likely going to be skewed my the media (such as incredibly biased articles like this).
