Last I checked, the military doesn't currently deny female applicants solely based on the fact that they're female.
And you say "a bunch of gay men" as if gays will be lining up to join an organization that will probably never accept them even if the government tells them to.
last time i looked, females couldn't perform certian MOS in the military. So there's still some fort of discrimination/segregation. Look it up
