Because there are practical considerations involved. Women don't want to shower with a bunch of dudes. We don't call them bigots for that. Yet for some reason, straight men who don't want to shower with a bunch of gay men are hatemongers. I'm just demanding consistency. Either allow for discrimination or don't, but stop telling me that some discrimination is okay but other discrimination is bad.
