oh it ain't just the first boss. it's the 2nd stage's design as well, all that gliding and the cloud jumping.
and you're never ever getting all the emeralds. trying is gonna kill you more than the 1st boss.
also every stage takes like 5 minutes to get through. especially bad in the tubes one as you can die of time out pretty easily.
