I actually get to spoil myself a bit thanks to looking for info on the net and reading the awesome Black Adventures webcomic. I'm at the Chargestone Cave atm.
My team: Sven the Servine, Gurdurr, Palpitoad, Krokorok, Herdier, and Sigilyph.
My thoughts so far
-Nice try, GameFreak, but I'm not playing online. Anything is better than C Gear.
-Pokemon moving in battles is sooo cute and awesome. Also, they close their eyes while asleep. HNGGGH. I'm kinda curious about Armaldo though.
-The cities are quite amazing. The Skyarrow Bridge is neat, and the gyms are interesting as well.
-The leveling between areas is neat too. So is the abundance of trainers. Pretty fun and challenging.
-I like how there's actually some sort of story now.
