One problem with digital download: xbox live arcade games and virtual console games say the same price forever due to no competition.
XBLA games go on sale all the time, there is literally an Xbox "Deal of the Week" where something goes on sale every week. Sometimes it's an XBLA game, sometimes it's DLC, sometimes it's a Games on Demand game, sometimes it's multiple things. And then there are the "Xbox Live Arcade Hits", XBLA games that have had permanent price drops. For example, Lumines Live launched at $15 but is now $10.
