Games are expensive now, and I select which ones I buy new very carefully. if developers want people to buy games new, give us insentive. Preorder bonuses are one good incentive, and another one is to do specific one use codes for content included in each new copy like Smackdown Vs Raw and Mortal Kombat. If I'm buying older games, I'm getting them used. My wallet can't take it, and the game industry should take into account that $60 is a lot of money to spend on their games.


Actually, given inflation, games are cheaper than they've ever been.

They've ALWAYS been $50-$70, even as production costs have skyrocketed since the NES era. It's actually a fairly consumer-friendly business model. Game companies never pass along the extra money they're spending onto you, at least directly in the cost of the actual disc.

DLC is another issue, though.
