ICON led me astray this morning. I went on to send my buddy a friend request and saw that he was playing this game so I got on to find out that he was just idly sitting in the lobby. I played for a few games and did pretty well again. One game made me feel both pretty good about myself and disappointed.
It was 5-on-5 deathmatch on The Plaza and before long it became 5-on-3 with my team having the three. We did very well together and it was 38 all on a game to 40. Me and someone on the other team met up and he tried to melee me but missed and I backed away so that we were well out of CQC range and sprayed him with bullets, obviously killing him, but the absolutely most ridiculous thing happened. I somehow fell down and died and the screen displayed that the very same guy beat me to death. I know that I never got hit with bullets so it couldn't have been a simple mistake of the game registering the wrong person for the kill, the other guy somehow managed to beat me down, when I had full health mind you, from 20 or so feet away while he was in the process of dying. I couldn't believe my eyes and I just spawned in time to see my teammate get gunned down by three people. 40-39 was the final score.
