Beat the game and they'll tell you all about it.
And yeah, I don't like that the entire game can be done linearly except for ONE JIGGY either. I don't mind it if it's a common theme, but to just have it happen ONCE is kinda jarring.
I always just go to Gobi's Desert before Freezeasy Peak, get the Speed Shoes and only the Speed Shoes, and then exit and go back.
