Lightning Strikes posted...The bad would be it being RE4 but less so with worse mechanics, the entire plot, the length, the shift to standard third person shooting, and most importantly, the lack of scares and atmosphere.
Indeed, the shift to standard third-person shooting is totally RE5's fault, nevermind that it happened in RE4.
RE4 is not a standard third person shooter. RE4 did invent the formula, but did not forget the series' survival horror roots. It incorporated this into the mechanics. RE5 went full Gears of War on us.
