I work in banking and I know there are a ton of UN sanctions that stop us from letting people from certain countries open accounts with us, but this just seems to be a case of Apple trying to do someone else's job. If it's illegal to take laptops and phones to Iran, then it's customs that should be policing that, not Apple.
If it's illegal for someone to be in this country, it's the border patrol that should be policing that, not potential employers.
