Do you think that the segregation that was occurring in businesses prior to the 1960s was legal, Smartmuffin? Justifiable? Ethical?
It was legally required. Many businesses in the south wanted to integrate, but the state governments would not allow it.
I would say that it is not ethical to refuse business with someone solely on the basis of their race.
Justifiable is not for me to judge. It's their property, they have the right to use it in whichever way they choose.
