Carracosta's a beast once he learns Shell Smash. He ripped through half of N's team (one-shotted Reshiram whose fusion flare did practically nothing, two-shotted Zoroark, but hit me with Focus blast which did a lot, and I one-shotted Archeops before getting taken out by Klinklang). Did pretty well against Ghetsis too iirc. You just need to be patient when raising him.
And yeah, I picked Tepig as my starter... never been let down by fire before, but I was this time. First time I actually boxed my starter.
