I view games as a camera, not as an extension of my head. So if I want the screen to scroll up, I point up. I guess y-axis inverted would make for a more realistic gaming experience, but I'm fine with the camera perspective.

I'm so used to y axis not inverted and I never saw the point in inverted y axis. I always figured that was just a "thing" for FPS fans and I was like "okay, I don't get why they like that, but at least I can switch to non-inverted".
the whole thing about the neck makes sense, but again, I just see it as more of a camera. Want to look up, I hit the control stick upwards.
