That's actually not something I'm very helpful with. My ears don't get particularly dirty - I've been told I just don't produce earwax. That being said, I do wash with peroxide somewhat frequently and still attack them with q-tips ... I go in with a little peroxide, then with the q-tip, making sure to "mop" and not "push".
