Actually I think that was the best they could have done with the way they set it up.
I'm partially aware of that; just didn't like the idea of this match from the very beginning, and it got even worse when they added the "Ace is fired if he loses" stip, cause that pretty much solidified his win. I mean, the OTHER scenarios we could have had were...
- Cena wins, Ace is fired, new GM rehires Big Show out of sympathy, and we're left with nothing to lean on
- What we just saw, which will lead to Cena/Show XXXVI, but at least Ace keeps his status
In the end, this was the one match where I honestly thought there was no good way for it to end. Big Show turning heel was predicted when he was being forced to apologize for mocking Ace.
On the other hand, Punk/Bryan was great, the fatal four-way was pretty good, and Christian/Cody was a good watch as well.
7/10 for the ppv.
