Well there are units I've never touched such as Astrid. I just remove/keep her back and solo stuff with Geoffrey and Kieran when she's around.</p>
Astrid's pretty good in both games, mostly of innate Paragon, so she levels fast. She may need help with her strength and defense, but that's what BEXP is for.

I just take her Paragon, give it to someone else and bench her forever.
Aran is great IMO. For Geoffrey's crew. Dandev is likely the best unit of that bunch. Makalov has some funny quirks to him like having the highest speed growth in the game. Keiran doesn't need babysitting but ends up the 2nd worst of that crew. Astrid is super awful. Geoffrey rejoins super late and is a horseback unit anyway.
I'd use Dandev if you don't normally use him.

Eh, I disagree. Considering that you have less time to develop these guys, I think Kieran and Geoff are easily the best because they clear the maps faster for you and they generally don't need babysitting.
