I don't care about the mini-map icons, I just want my own personal face portrait to change. There's no point in me buying skins if I see the classic face no matter what my character looks like.
While I agree that it would be a nice addition, you are completely blowing things out of proportion.
You spend like what.. 1 minute in character selection? Looking at your actual portrait. Then you play a game of 20-50 mins where you look at the actual skin you bought. Sure, the portraits are still there on the HUD but you don't spend a lot of time looking at those do you?
