I don't know why everyone dislikes UU. I think UU is great. I imagine as she gets more screentime she'll jump up in the troll rankings significantly, but I already like her more than Feferi, Sollux, Eridan, and maybe even Vriska. UU's conversations tend to be pretty enlightening and I like her gimmick of being, like, the "Homestuck fanbase" troll where she draws ridiculous fanart of all the characters.
She's just not very interesting. The mystery surrounding her is, but as a character, her personality and dialogue is mostly pretty boring. At least Feferi had fish puns; UU was just a wall of exposition until that conversation with Dirk. Regardless of what she was talking about, she herself was boring.
And yeah, she hasn't gotten a lot of screentime but I wouldn't call what we have seen "great."
