Nintendo's plan for Digital Distribution

retailers decide the price of games and not nintendo, promoting competition among retails with DD
Alright, Nintendo knows what it's doing. They realize that this is the future and they are going balls deep with it. All they need is a strong online network system, which is what I'm really worrying about. But if they nail that and have a Steam-like distribution and marketing system, they will undoubtedly win the next generation as well.

Man, just thinking about it, I realized how brilliant this retail thing is. Maybe the best part about this is that Sony/MS will definitely have options for fully digitable games in their consoles. Sony is a given considering they did it with the Vita already, but I dunno about MS.

Oh wait, how big is the Wii U's built in HDD?

only 8GB out of the box (to keep costs low) but it supports external HDDs
