It tastes really good.....I don't know how else to explain it. If it's too hot for you, you could try something less spicy, or try chewing it less.

This^

If its too hot then you are eating the wrong thing. Try something that's more your speed until you are ready for something more.

Spicy food is amazing. I've rarely had a spicy dish that was painful to eat when prepared properly. You may have a sensitive palette or something.

Also this I guess. But again just ease your way into it.

try some Thai cuisine.

Or Korean. Both can be amazing and hot in such a good and also different way. Like you have the "dry" hot of like crushed peppers of some variety, but this is more of a "wet" hot the way it sneaks in. Hard to explain, but just know that there are different varieties of spicy.

Spicy foods are the best.

I wish I could eat spicy chicken enchiladas, rice and beans for every meal.

Your poor roommates...

Also, I've recently noticed that unless something is warm (temperature wise), it won't be spicy to me.

I was eating at my parent's house about a month ago and my dad gave me these really hot peppers to put on my tacos.

I loaded it up and felt nothing while he was literally sweating and he's like a master of spice.

Then I heated one up and it melted my face off. I started paying attention to this at subsequent meals to test my theory.

I don't know how but my mouth is now immune to peppers unless they are heated up. And then...I'm in trouble.

Hrmm I'm not sure I agree with this.

One of the most spicy things I have ever had came in the form of a chilled sushi dish that was just loaded.

As you have guessed I enjoy my spicy food. I'm super pale/white but I can put my hispanic friends in the ground when it comes to a heat off but with that said I don't NEED to eat spicy foods. Like if I'm out to eat I'm not going to pick the spicy thing on the menu just because its the spicy thing. I'll still pick whatever I happen to most feel like eating and sometimes its incredibly mellow, just as long as its tasty y'know? But when something is tasty AND spicy then I'm totally on board.
