I'd like to see this person who told you bad things about any Metal Gear voicework.
According to Wikipedia, some professional critics criticized Hayter's performance in Snake Eater and claimed that "a lot of the humor fell flat, as if lost in translation".
Like I said, I haven't played any game in this series yet and Brawl is my only exposure to MGS so far, though, as my sig indicates, I look to rectify this in a big way by...at least the end of winter if not earlier.
