If it takes me forty-five seconds to mute and/or turn off a thirty-second video, I will go to the trouble of doing so. I can't stand being forced to do something I don't want to. For the rest of my life, if they manage to get their name across to me, I will avoid the company in the ad. It does them more harm than good, I think.

Pretty sure the others from the Calgary area can back me up on the old "Blaskin and Lane" radio ad. I will not use them for my vehicle.

Poorly?

My friend worked in Ottawa and said he hated every waking moment of his life. He was told what to say and do, and couldn't speak what he felt. Said it was the worst experience of his life. I can only imagine what kind of person you'd have to be to continue doing what they do.

I've spoken with local MLAs, older ones, who say that people basically don't care anymore. Doesn't affect them personally, doesn't matter. It's just really piss-poor and lacking any kind of honour, which is a disgrace.

PS - It had been explained to me.

You, uh... do understand that Motions like M103 are non-binding, right?

A motion is not a bill. The law hasn't changed at all. A Motion is basically just saying "The government thinks this." It has all the legislative power of a Facebook press release.

Nah, it's passed HoC already. It just needs to pass senate... That's why I asked.

Motion > HoC > Bill > Senate > Law.

Funny, because we have an over-abundance of white-collars in the city, and not enough labourers, after the last crash that OPEC forced on us. People with drug and alcohol addictions in the labour force who, surprisingly, can't manage their money, said "I'm not doing this again." and left the province.

All these young kids want the $60-90k/year positions, not realising that a degree doesn't guarantee you a job. Especially when the economy hits rock-bottom. Also not realising that some of these labour positions will pay that. You just... actually have to work.

Guys who work their way up the ladder, eventually needing a couple years of schooling, can make $1500/day sitting in a heated shack watching others work.

Housing is so cheap in the US. Over twenty acres and 2,500 sq. ft. would run you a milli here, easy. That's not even relative with dollar conversion.

Yeah, that's only $331,000+ here. Wonder what the US laws are on people outside the country buying property to rent there.

The only language I've ever bothered learning is Japanese. No other country really offers anything you need to know the language for unless you want to tour the world.

English works pretty much everywhere. I spent two months in Japan with a very basic understanding of the language. A lot of menus and signs have Furigana, or even English, so it's not necessary to have an N2 or N1 understanding of the language. There are online translators now, that for the most part, can get the point across. Lots of people go to China, Turkey, Russia, France (which are by far the most rude people when it comes to speaking to I've personally come across - they will not speak to you unless you try to speak French to them first) where those countries in some areas won't speak English at all. The languages of those countries would be equally as important to the people traveling to them.

Ever heard of Richmond, BC? That's in Canada, where the two official languages are English and French, and it is federal law that everything written must be in English or French, yet the Chinese population is so high there, that some areas are strictly for Chinese only. You can not read a word of anything in your own country, because it is not meant for you. And nobody takes action against it. How sad is that?

The people who don't are the downfall of society, because their laziness and lack of caring doesn't stop there.

There are people who get paid to collect the carts, but that isn't their only job, And sometimes people call in sick. The weather here gets to -40 and below sometimes, with upwards of three feet of snow. I've worked in a department store, and had to help those guys when they were short-staffed. It sucks, bad.

Idk if it's been mentioned, but don't buy it for the Xbox for this reason: It constantly freezes after you've done enough things in the game because there isn't enough RAM to run it properly.

Never ran into that, and I had characters that had done everything.

I don't know what the issue was, then. I ran both versions on the same Xbox... So unless it was the Xbox. Or the fact that we (cousin and I) were farming Vivec guard armour like we were supplying all of Nirn, and selling them to the mudcrab, plus taking over whatever houses we wanted, and decorating them that way, too. Silver everything. Everywhere.

It could have been my Xbox, but, I didn't have any issues with any other games, and I feel the way I played Morrowind was the factor in it. But also, if the game let you do all that (move items around and spend RAM) then it shouldn't be a problem. They should have accounted for that.

They should just re-release DFall and up on the new consoles. I mean, they remastered the newest game in the series already.. What's that about? I actually liked Morrowind. And with today's tech, they could even add ragdoll physics to it...

Now I want to play this and DFall again.
