Hopefully. I'm glad they shook up the zelda formula in a lot of ways but the final boss fights were fun, I always enjoyed the idea of sword play followed by fighting the ultimate monster.

In botw they forgot the intimate one on one swordplay part so here's hoping we see it again

Its not really the size of wind wakers boring map, its more the fact that you literally have just one way of exploring it, chugging along at a snail's pace on that rickety boat. I looked at the wii u port and even the slightly faster sail doesn't change the fact that it's downright tiresome to sail in wind waker

In breath of the wild there are plenty of different options to explore the land which is part of the uniqueness of the game.

Hell take another sailing game like black flag and you'll see sailing done right. With the increased speed and shanties, its just an all around better method of exploring

Erm every zelda game after ocarina of time was rushed and unfinished. Hell who knows maybe even ocarina if it wasn't so perfect.

Majora mask waS rushed because it was going to take advantage of the n64 add-on but then they scrapped that stupid idea. So you have a game with only 4 dungeons and over reliance on groundhogs day mechanic (still unique okayish game)

Wind waker was rushed because they scrapped the photo realistic idea they showed at Nintendo world (that everyone went crazy over with hype) when they realized they couldn't follow through so quickly went with a cel shaded look which cost time and money to change which is why wind waker was lacking. And also the initial controversy and why so many judged it before giving it a chance.

And finally twilight princess might be the most infamous of all. The team wasted a full-on year of the development time to port the game to the wii, which is why its possibly the worst 3d zelda of all time with a literal barren world and lazy dungeons and nothing to do. That year could have been used to do even a tenth of the ideas they had but nope.
