On the other hand, you're sacrificing accessibility for a niche audience that was arguably the most likely to purchase the sequel already. It's almost inarguably a bad business decision to make. The tone of the story is more whimsical, the character designs are more animated ala The Wind Waker so it doesn't give me classic JRPG fantasy vibes like ALttP's art and sprites did and it using some music from later Zelda games takes the focus away from ALttP and hurts the sense of immersion. I'm still near the beginning, and thankfully it's not as lackluster as Skyward Sword, but ALBW is still disappointing. If you're at the start of the game still this is understandable. ALBW has more "build" than pretty much any other Zelda game because it needs the build to execute it's story. I would say if you hit in between the 3rd and 4th dungeon and you still aren't digging it it's just not for you.
