I think Maushold is honestly my favorite from the gen. It's animations, dex entry, and both forms of it won me over.

Have we ever seen anything that would be considered "technically adequate" from either gamefreak or the franchise itself in the last decade?

And yeah, when shit is bad people don't test rules, they test enforcement. Being told I cannot do something and stopping me and thousands of others from doing it at the same time are two completely different things. The worse circumstances get, the more enforcement of rules will continue to be tested. With things much worse than shoplifting.

Breath of the wild is the greatest tech demo ever released.

Say you had an outstanding offer of Attending a funeral and offering a heartfelt eulogy for X amount of money. You've never met the person, but they've paid in advance and you can pretty much say whatever you want about how you met them and the impact they had on you. They've given you a brief summary of their life up to death.

It's for the family and those in attendence of the funeral, and it would make them feel better about the deceased, they will never know the truth.

Good for them but why is that so momentous, persona 5 is only like 20-30 gb. It's not like those western games like AC odyssey which are 150 gb total.

Because games that shouldn't run like shit still run like shit on switch. The optimization of most ports is non-existent. The Spyro Reignited trilogy shouldn't look or feel like shit on Switch, but it does.

That's why encountering a game that doesn't hit you with constant frame drops is regarded like finding the holy grail.

That's how impressed I am with their ability to handle a port, goddamn.

Legitimately a "Tony Stark built this in a cave with a box of scraps" level accomplishment. Really makes the rest of the switch's ported library look awful by comparison too.
