There was like a video or something that showed that instant ramen was like totally bad for you and didn't digest well or something. I still don't really understand that because, like, people in Japan eat it all the time and also college students and stuff. I had it for years too and didn't notice anything bad.

But since seeing that video I stopped buying Ramen. I miss it though, it's a super easy/fast snack. I think I need to do more research and see if I can start having Ramen again.....also need to check if it's bad for diabetics as well.

I think it's carbs, so it probably is, but maybe I could still have one every once and awhile or something. It would help prevent me from craving pasta so much.

Yeah, though you can make a throw away facebook account if you want. Might be able to use a friends as well who doesn't have one (not sure on that). I don't know what happens if you get locked out of a facebook account once you set itup with one, but I'm guessing you can reset it and put a new one in (but I'd check on that first).

They have like a cardboard thing you can use (comes with it) to make it more comfortable with glasses. It's not great, but it's not horrid either.

You can watch 2d stuff just fine, and in fact they even have things like a VR living room where you sit on a couch virtually and watch a big screen tv. It's pretty cool actually. Everything is about the same size as a big screen TV when playing 2d games, but the 4k tvs etc are better resolution so that is a negative.

It fogs up over time so it's hard to just play non-stop for hours, and many people get eye strain after about an hour or so as well.

You can't hook up a n64 or gamecube that I know of, but you CAN hook up a laptop and probably play n64/gamecube games on the laptop, using the quest as the monitor. You might be able to run an emulator on the quest, but I don't know if you can, and I don't think you could set up a controller that would work that way (Best bet would be to just hook it up to a laptop/desktop and run it that way).

Don't know about her being president, though I would love to see a woman president mind you, but she would be better than other choices we have had (especially the two current ones) at least for me.

Would love to see a female president in my lifetime, though it's not looking very likely unless Biden gets elected and croaks.

He is not responsible for them all, but we have had one of the worst responses to the virus in this country and he is directly to blame for some of that. In addition to the deaths we have already had, he has basically forced many of us to remain totally isolated far longer than we would have probably needed to (Although since it's back on the rise in Europe maybe that has caused some people to actually be safer over all).

He's not totally to blame for all the deaths, but he certainly added to them with his whole (basically the flu, don't wear masks, and fake news crap).

As long as we don't tax much over 50% there isn't many places you can go really, which is why so many of the wealthy have their money here, because with loopholes etc, they were able to pay significantly less taxes in the US then most other places in the world.

The 12% increase over 400k would bring taxes up to about 52% which is a bit (very small) more than other places in the world (for amounts over 400k at least), but not really enough to uproot your life and move everything for. It just basically stops making the US a great place to make money and get interest on your money etc.

Honestly we don't REALLY need to raise taxes to 52% over 400k, we just need to close the Regan loopholes and ensure everyone is actually paying 35% or more on their income over 12k a year or so (heck raise it to 15 even). Any income you do make over that though can only be offset by direct money lost/spent from a buisiness (not re-investing money in new supplies, not investing money into anything other than 401k plans, not donations nothing, you pay the base flat tax on your net income period).

If that happened we would have WAY more tax revenue every year already, and could even lower taxes on the average citizen while still saving social security, and having excess money for other projects.

Other countries tax a very small amount on anything under 35k or so (in some cases basically nothing even), but everyone making over that gets taxed fairly close to the same amount. Something like that would be waaaay better in this country and you would probably pay less as long as you were not making more than 100k.

Problem is, if you are making more than 100k, you'll pay more, possibly alot more, and of course the people making that much have all the power in this country, so it's not gonna change.

Not for me. With the homemade pizzas I've had, the cheese is usually fine other than not enough. But that's easy enough to fix. I think one of the problems was the crust. It always seemed too thin, even when it wasn't thin crust. And sometimes, the sauce. Either way, I don't think I've really had any good homemade pizzas, so I just don't bother with them anymore, nor have I tried to make my own. Which I'm fine with. I order from a place based on what kind of taste I'm looking for (or for a specific pizza at a specific place). So, I'd rather just buy it from somewhere...

Um, by homemade I do NOT mean frozen (at all) I have never had a good frozen pizza. I meant making the pizza from scratch at home and cooking it on a pizza stone.

I am not a fan of frozen pizza. Sadly even really good pizza from NY frozen to be shipped here isn't that good, something about freezing it just ruins it.

Hardest part is getting really good cheese tbh.

I used to make em myself with a pizza stone but honestly even though it was better, it was alot more work, and papa murphies is super cheap/easy and you can add your own ingredients. It used to only cost $5 ($5 favs) for a cheese/pepporoni or sausage pizza. I would get the pepporoni, add my own extra cheese and extra toppings and bam $5 for a very yummy fast pizza. Crust wasn't as good as self made but pretty much everything else was.

I should not ever eat pizza anymore, but you know you have it bad when you still do (if not that often).

Life is not worth living if you can't have pizza every once and awhile. I just get as thin crust as possible, and I make a pizza last 3 days or so.

Generally I get 1 of the$9 new york pizzas from pappa murphys then add my own mushrooms on it every month (been over a month since the last time but I have not gone into town for awhile).

I pretty much split that up into 3 meals (approximatly 1/3rd of the pizza each time). The crust is REALLY thin, so it's not too many carbs.

I'd eat that every day if I could though, heck I could still live on pizza (and I did as somepoints in my life lol).

Why are the things that taste the best, so bad for you?

I don't think you can definitively judge a standing president as often things won't come out that he/she has done until later, people will attack them with things that are not true because of current politics etc. I'm not a fan of Trump, but I won't judge him as the worst until I can look back at his presidency objectively.

Outside of not liking him as a person, I have not been a fan of some of his changes (especially the whole leaving the Paris Climate Agreement (which...again...after some time looking back may qualify him in my mind) and I think many of them will cause him to at least end up being my least favorite president in my lifetime, but we will see.

For now it's Regan though, because of the tax loopholes/exemptions etc that he created (again this is just presidents in my lifetime, not over all). It's hard for me to judge presidents that were before I was born, as the world was different then.

You would probably think I'm a Democrat because of my choice (and dislike for Trump) but if your new to these boards I am NOT a Democrat, I support ideas from both sides and just want everyone to work together to make a better country. I dislike Regan because he made the divide between the rich and poor greater, and no president since him has basically fixed it yet (which is on them, even Demo presidents).

I know many people who learned to draw by initially tracing things, until they could basically do it without tracing anymore. Not sure if that would work for you, but I have seen it work in the past.

Man, I miss those old college parties etc (even went to some in my 40's!!). I won a costume contest once as a pizza zombie lol (was so fun).

My wife also used to talk for a scary pumpkin we had in our yard when giving out candy and scare the crap out of people hehehe.

She's doing really well. She is eating a ton and growing. She is doing this thing where she wants to sleep all day and stay awake all night and its really frustrating for us.

Tooth pain is terrible. My son has been dealing with a tooth issue lately because he has an extra one on the roof of his mouth and he keeps biting his tongue with it.

Despite how tired we are wife and I both want sex really bad but its only been two and a half weeks so we can't yet. She keeps teasing me really bad too

A president who literally brought America to war with itself is a pretty shitty president. While people praise him for the reconstruction, it wouldn't have been necessary if not for his destruction.

He in some ways made my life harder as a kid, although I prob only survived early on because of school lunches, so I guess I need to blame him for that as well. It was MUCH harder to get a job when I was 11-14 or so because of child labor laws though. I had to work at christmas tree lots, and under the table jobs only.

That being said, many of his changes were amazing, and he build up the infrastructure more than any other president. Maybe he wasn't perfect, but we need more progressive presidents like that in my opinion. If he had been able to continue, everyone would have the right to a job right now, which I think would be great (no welfare etc, just everyone has work they can do, and should do).

I don't even think that is needed anymore because you can automate most menial labor jobs at this point, but for the past 40 years or so, I would have much prefered everyone having a job (and even being required to answer phones etc if your disabled), than welfare/disability etc. Work is an important part of a healthy life I believe.

Anyway FDR at least did something and tried to make America better (for everyone not just the rich). Nobody is perfect but I sure would like more presidents like him, especially now.

I mean if it's on youtube and they have not taken it down etc, then I believe it is legal to watch it. Might not be legal to post it (not sure) but there are commercials etc, so I think they make money from you watching things on youtube. I know there are a ton of movies on youtube and I think they are legal (Seriously not gonna do research to figure it out).

Going to a site that plays movies currently in the theator etc though is...well maybe not illegal, but unethical, so I don't do it, even if it doesn't really hurt anyone etc. I tend to error on the side of over caution as far as legality is concerned in general.

I have roomates but we never interact (they are upstairs and I never go up there). If I started to smell really bad though they would probably notice. If it was cold enough (I like the cold) I might not though, at least till summer.

Eventually though I'm gonna get a studio apartment and then I probably won't be noticed at all, especially if I set it up to auto-pay the rent (Which I probably will).

I don't really care though, once I'm dead it ain't my problem anymore, though I would like to avoid traumatizing anyone by having them find my body.

It's complicated.

Brief version:

IBC was a queen of winter, she had a crown of ice and everything. Winter therefore, was a fan, and got along with her well. IBC started posting arousing pictures though and heated up the board a bunch, kinda like global warming of PoTD, and her crown melted (basically she was wet).

Winter was like meh, it's getting hot in here, and started taking off all his clothes. That was pretty much cool with IBC, she seems pretty down for nudity, but while removing his clothes Winter fell over and squished her rabbit.

IBC had a cute fluffy rabbit named spike (named after the vampire in buffy). Spike was her favorite pet and she loved him, so when winter fell on spike and killed him, she was very upset. Luckily Spike took after his namesake and became a vampire rabbit and promptly bit Winter in revenge.

Winter didn't become a vampire but it hurt like hell (you don't even wanna know where the rabbit bit him), and so now he basically wants to jump on peoples penis because his has become deflated via vamp rabbit.

All is not lost though, since IBC's rabbit is doing fine, basically it seems mostly like Winter is just a bit cooler towards IBC over all, and nobody really knows how she feels about him right now. Meanwhile spike is currently playing a game of among us with POTD posters and knocking us off randomly for fun.

I being a wolf, am pretty safe (also I'm part vampire since I generally prefer staying up all night). Also I generally like rabbits anyway (except the ones that eat my leather coats, but I don't have a leather coat anymore). I tend to like both IBC and Winter so maybe some day I can act as a mediator between them and everything will go back to normal.

I'm not a fan of Trump (wasn't before he ran for office either), but I am dissapointed in republicans as a whole right now as many seem to be trying to block mail in votes, and/or force people to vote in person (putting themselves at risk), and also restricting votes to only count if they are recieved by election day at the post office.

Knowing that though, hopefully most people are just mailing them early, but I guess because of backlog etc, even if they mail them today they may still not get counted.

Also what is up with texas only having one dropbox per county?

Seriously, there are many people out there who are not anti-republican who are not going to be ok with this. I, and many others just want our government to work, and to work together, to stop being so antagonistic and start being constructive.

Blocking the actual voting process? That is not going to win people over. Perhaps democrats are blowing it out of proportion, and it's not really happening, but I'm guessing it is to some degree and things like the one drop off box per country in Texas is real (isn't that actually almost crazy because doesn't Texas usually vote red?).

Kinda don't understand this strategy at all, I wouldn't be surprised if more people vote because of it, cause if you try to keep people from doing something, they are often much more likely to try and do it lol.
