As fun and entertaining as that first season of Onepunch Man was, Mob Psycho over the long haul was a better show.
Maybe the peak action sequences aren't as good, but you'll get a lot more out of the plot and characters.
Now what will happen to One's next work, Versus? I kinda like the art, cos I did give Tenkaichi a spin and that had ok action.
Guess we'll find out if One manages to get another adaptation.

When Mob does well it tends to do really in these. Not many shows have racked up 3 top 10s.

Why such inconsistent performances by TTGL?
I'll chalk it up to being a mecha show. Never quite know which years they'll decide to pop off.

I also get why, but do find it annoying that on my youtube algo, when I search for TTGL clips once in a while, it'll give me stuff from the movies, when I was looking for the TV series stuff.
I get that the movies were hype, but I preferred following the story along via the anime series.

When the Kaguya anime was announced, we had no idea if this would be any good.
The source material was brilliant, but that just made living up to the hype all that much harder.
That and just look at the shows A-1 had been involved in of late, though there was some hope after hearing the Rakugo director was on board.

Show's become of the big rom coms of its era since and the success seems to have been part of why Aka's next work got so much hype ahead of its broadcast.
I'm on board with giving Oshi no Ko some support next year!
