Just furthers the idea of unity against Unity. They need to fire a few suits, including the CEO, and get rid of this policy altogether, and even then they wouldn't be able to save face. Keeping it as is would bankrupt devs, as highlighted in GTM's post above, and that knowledge means nobody will use their engine any longer.

I repeat: The CEO knew this would generate a lot of negative press covfefe and sold his holdings in the company. The fact that he still went through it should cost him his job.

Well with that I won't have a dilemna on who to pick between Idol and Crossing Field.

Which 3 servants?

One of the reasons why FGO's such a successful gacha is that it gives you something to keep rolling for. There are just so many characters you end up wanting because of their design, their story/personality, their gameplay or other reasons.

You don't know it yet, but characters like Caster Altria, Oberon, Van Gogh, Space Ishtar, Ereshkigal, Kama or Mash might end up being your favourite over anyone from the content you've currently seen.

Would a Kiwami style update to the story been enough for most players of the original?

I do like how 7R expands on the story and a lot of the new characters are ones I've liked.
I could have done without some of the bigger story changes though, since my fav overall parts were the 1 to 1 recreations of famous scenes.

It was necessary to expand on how you move from those moments to the next.

Eh not really, in the discord, we have been taking full advantage of the 2 years but it still demands a rather heavy committment.

JP voice acting in games works well when it goes for anime style narratives and direction.

Though JP voice talents really get shown up outside their bubble. They have never won a Game Award for Best Voice Performance and it's never felt like they've been screwed or under represented either. We just rarely ever get performances from them that stand out.

Peak FGO is some of the best Fate content out there.
The lows are a real slog to get through.

Aren't there a bunch of resources that essentially let you play out the story without playing the actual game?

FGO comes with tons of awesome servants and you'll never get to play with a bunch of them because the rates are so bad.

Kizu is the most up for debate, seen some put it after Bake.
Koyo before Owari or even classified as optional for some.

Quality can depend on your preferred characters but whole cast is good.

Kaleid Liner ends up having great fights.
Not usually a first choice recommendation though.

Pity Fate/Extra and Apocrypha didn't turn out so hot. Liked the Extra story and Apocrypha has some neat servants.

Wouldn't really recommend Babylonia either unless one really wants a Gilgamesh fix.

But that's exactly why it's easy to recommend. Low commitment with great spectacle. It's like wrestling, build up to a great match and if it delivers you'll still be generally happy.

Sometimes you get the best of both worlds like with Fate.

You don't want every ep to be deep like 8 1/2 or Cries and Whispers.

That doesn't answer anything on if the the anime has good fights and animation or not.

I won't say it's a 10/10 anime because it's not, but easy enough to see why it's a hit with casual audiences. Doesn't even matter in the end because of the various series brought up it was still watched.

Monogatari is much better anyway, just a harder series to recommend the longer it gets, but will always be happy to see someone enjoy it.

Magus families are all kinds of screwed up.

KnK is good but not necessarily something I'd recommend. It's just very different tonally. Fate establishes the rules of engagement fairly quickly and you always have a battle on the horizon as you know you need to eliminate the competition one way or the other.
KnK is more mystery based prior to encounters.

Though if Extha is not on the picky side and just wants more high budget ufotable action, there's always Demon Slayer.

Maybe the Waver series might be a decent shout for ExTha

Genkai Toppa x Survivor sticks out to me because I normally really dislike this type of singer, but do this OP quite a bit.
