That'd actually be pretty killer, but wouldn't it be kinda hard to be this nobody trainer if you're the son/daughter of the region league champion? Besides, don't most pokemon games start with the main character just moving to that region? I know Brenden, I'm assuming the canon main character is always male, moved to Hoenn from Johto and Sun came from Kanto, meanwhile Red,Gold,Calum,Herbert,Nate and Lucus are natives to their regions.

Then again, they didn't tell us Brenden's dad was a gym leader nor did the locals recognize you as his son until you actually meet him, so I suppose it could work, but wouldn't having a parent of a character cause problems in them having a name ?

This is the worst luck I've had in a long time -- been SR'ing in Ultra Sun for shiny legends / ubs and have lots to show for it. Even, did it multiple times on the same ones to get natures and shit.

Well to be honest you're looking for a 1/8162 instead of a 1/4096 or 3/4096 X the calculations in the ultra wormholes, she's gonna take a long,long time, even if you reset that amount you still aren't guaranteed a shiny

I've never actively soft-reset for a shiny. The farthest I've gone out of my way to get a shiny was chain-fishing in Y. I did end up with my shiny Dragalge that actually had a good nature and was a fun spot whenever I went online

I got a empurr in X from doing that grass trick back then and through SOS chaining I got a shiny eevee in Sun and in Ultra Sun through SOS chaining I got a shiny Clampearl that's now a Gorepass and through ultra wormholes I have a shiny Stunfisk, Medicham and that gen 5 hermit crab pokemon.
