How many different wheel studs standards do we have?

Some are 4 lug, some are 5 lug, larger vehicles can be 6 to 8 lug, and the distance between the studs can vary (4 inches, 4.5 inches, 5.5 inches, etc)

Protip: the trade-in value of your current car doesn't consider the spare in the value, so if possible just transfer the spare from your old car to your new one.

You could do this, but if the car is designed to never have a spare from the factory it usually won't have the recessed area in the trunk to store it, so it'll use up cargo space. It may have a different lug pattern too.

I buy older used cars anyway, this is just my observation and pet peeve from working at a dealership

Higher end cars usually have run flats, which is fine... but all the other cars that don't have run flats come with little "tire service kits" instead, which is just a bottle of tire sealant paired with a compressor. Not only does it make fixing or replacing the tire at a shop an incredibly messy job (techs HATE this shit), but if you have anything other than a minor puncture it's utterly useless and you'll be stranded until you can get a tow.

They do this in my state/county too. I quit my Home Depot job one day at the beginning of my closing shift. They had been dicking me around, dangling full time in my face, giving me shit shifts like 6pm to 10pm, etc. One day I was driving in and just got it in my head to quit, so i walked through the door, turned in my keys then walked right back out.
