A Jewish family was beaten, held hostage and robbed in their home near Paris because of their religion, French authorities and anti-hate groups said on Sunday.

Three attackers burst into the house in the Paris suburb of Livry-Gargan late on Thursday, cut off the electricity and confined three members of a Jewish family, beating them and threatening to kill them, until one of them managed to escape and alert the police, said antisemitism watchdog BNVCA.

It said the assailants told the three victims: “You are Jews, you have money. We take money from Jews to give to the poor.”

I don't know how far you plan on being away from your pc, but the wired 360 controller for windows has a pretty long cord and it needs nothing extra, even the disc that comes with it isn't needed so that could work.

ything, some only have bluetooth that works with the ms adaptor. so if your pc + controller has bluetooth capability there's no adaptor necessary, just scan, connect and play. as far as charging goes, any usb "phone charger" should work but I found I needed a "charge + data" cable for it to charge via usb (a lot of cheaper cables only charge)

Usborne publishing has apologised and announced it will revise a puberty guide for boys that states that one of the functions of breasts is “to make the girl look grown-up and attractive”.

Published in 2013, Growing Up for Boys by Alex Frith is described by Usborne as a “frank and friendly book offering boys advice on what to expect from puberty and how to stay happy and confident as they go through physical, psychological and emotional changes”. According to the publisher, it “covers a range of topics, including moods and feelings, what happens to girls, diet, exercise, body image, sex and relationships, self-confidence, alcohol and drugs”.

It is the section on breasts that has drawn criticism, after writer and blogger Simon Ragoonanan, who blogs about fatherhood at Man vs Pink, posted a page from the book on Facebook. “What are breasts for?” writes Frith in the extract. “Girls have breasts for two reasons. One is to make milk for babies. The other is to make the girl look grown-up and attractive. Virtually all breasts, no matter what size or shape they end up when a girl finishes puberty, can do both things.”
