I don't think anyone gives a shit, and even if they do, just tell them it does the job well.

I feel sorry for people that need to be seen in that big brand.

Paying tons of cash to wear a fucking brand is so god damn stupid. Are the clothes warmer than other clothes? Do they cover your gross ass more than other clothes? No.

You're paying extra money for likely lower quality materials put together by children in a third world country who are paid in handfuls of rice.

I care about quality. I avoid wearing brand logos.

That said, if a brand has a reputation for high-quality, high-durability goods, I'm going to wear them - I'm just not going to display branding. I don't mess around with counterfeits.

I have a full Carhartt ski mask that I'm pretty sure saved my life or at least parts of my face when my car broke down. I do have a little bit of respect.

How it looks outweigh the branding but I don't wear counterfeits

I have some jeans that cost $35 and I have some that cost $350. I bought them because they look nice.

I can usually tell with these sort of things. The chest and back logo especially just doesnt look as tight and crisp for a brand such as north face.

Other than that the actual jacket is very well made and feels nice. And im not just wearing it for the brand, i just usually like these higher quality weather type clothes.

Im thinking of buying some capsule corp iron on patches or something to cover up the fake logos lol.

Hmmm...best way to tell is to find some code on the tag, type it in on the northface site, and see if the quality of the garment in the pic matches what you have. Some materials it is difficult to get crisp lines and edges.

Yeah the style looks nice, the materials are good and stitching/zips etc look on point.

It definitely is a weather proof jacket and is comfortable to wear. Plus I got it for $4

Is it shameful to wear a fake northface jacket lmao

Been looking at one of their chore coats for practical reasons (the cut and logo patch are annoying, though), but nah. I mostly go for J. Crew, Gap and Red Wing. I'm really picky about what exactly I get from each.

I think only Hypebeasts would actually care but that's because they want validation to justify their $700 jacket and $300 sneakers.
