I rewatched the first 10 seconds of Tails final boss and I remembered the entire fight lol. Though it is impressive, Amy has been shown to do a similar spinning attack which is what Tails was doing.

If we go strictly by feats, Tails just comes out looking better than Amy overall. Well, more recent games have been portraying Tails as a pathetic little punk, but again, I'm going by their overall resumes lol

For the record, what triggers the animation of Tails struggling to lift Amy's hammer?
And I don't mind conceding to the idea that Amy is stronger than Tails, as I was never completely committed to the belief in the first place (I gave Tails a C in strength and Amy a C-, so I figured they were at least comparable). What I maintain, however, is that Tails is far more capable overall.

it's very easy to just lug something around, much harder to actually swing it especially one handed like amy does

Also, we know that flying takes energy out of Tails (and usually fairly fast during gameplay), so the combination of him flying and holding the hammer deserves some sort of recognition.

Demonstrably untrue lmao there'd be no point of using weapons if that was the case. xD Literally anyone who has a knife/gun/sword/etc. is usually more dangerous than someone who doesn't.

That's not the point I was trying to make. I'm saying a random joe with a knife is way less dangerous than someone who's skilled with a knife.

But a random Joe with a knife is still more dangerous than a random Joe without a knife. My point is that weapons are advantageous by nature. Amy defeating some ordinary badniks with her hammer is cool, but nowhere near as impressive as Tails single-handedly defeating Dr. Eggman.

It's just the final boss for Tails in Sonic Adventure. Sonic is gone, and it's up to Tails to save the entire city of Station Square by defeating Dr. Robotnik. He succeeds.

Thats a surprisingly naive takeaway for an animal rights advocate. You realize the fish is only making that sound because its being tortured, right? Imagine some humans last grunt of pain being a funny sound before they die from their abuser, and everyone deciding to meme the grunt as if it has no context. Obviously most people value the lives of humans over those of animals, but the same logic applies if you care about both.

There's no way in hell Tails is physically stronger than Amy.

Even in games like Riders and Zero Gravity Amy's strength stat is literally higher than Tails

Ive never seen Amy do anything that would logically suggest that shes stronger than Tails.

Ok then, tell me some of Tail's greatest strength feats.

You: Theres no way Tails is even slightly stronger than Amy lmao wtf
Me: Tails is far more physically capable; it stands to reason that despite his age and gentleness, hed be a bit stronger than the character who almost only serves as comic relief or a damsel in distress.
You: Yeah, w-well, prove it!

You made the claim that Amy being even slightly weaker than Tails is ridiculous. I explained why I feel differently. So, its your turn; what makes Amy so much stronger?

as if these adult men are somehow being forced to throw money at internet strangers. god.

It's a little more complex than this. The complaint about Twitch girls is more about how they appeal to the desperate and lonely niche so well. The "kissless virgin gamer" archetype that, while a stereotype, is pretty common in the community.

Those guys tend to have social problems, mental issues, anxiety, etc. that makes them easy targets of 'fake' affection from attractive girls. Put a girl on a webcam and have her play League of Legends, suddenly that lonely and depressed guy is thinking "Wow, she's into the stuff I'm into, and she seems so nice, maybe I have a chance with her."

Which leads to a donation. And then a thank you message with a little hand-heart gesture from the girl herself. Which makes the guy feel good, like he's finally being validated by this girl he has self-proclaimed himself to 'have a chance with.' This leads to more donations in a sea of others from the same type of guy, all competing with one another to be the king of contributors so they'll have the strongest possible chance of 'getting with' the streamer girl.

Is it healthy? No, of course not. Is it the girl's fault? Generally no, but if she gets accustomed to the treatment, she may start manipulating her audience (consciously or not) to entice further donations. "Donate this week for a chance to play with me on stream!" and stuff like that. Guy streamers do that, too, but it's with a totally different context. It doesn't have that undertone of 'maybe you'll get lucky with me~' that twitch girls have adopted.

Me, I don't mess with that. I don't donate to, nor view the streams of, any specific Twitch girls. Mostly because the chat is...extremely depressing. Nothing but dudes hucking compliments and throwing money at a girl just because she has a nice body and a bubbly personality.

Damn. Spot-on.

The deadpan snarker would mostly make sarcastic remarks at the schemer's expense, with the latter not even realizing half the time that he's being insulted (think Dr. Nefarious and Lawrence, from the Ratchet & Clank series). He'd have a Droopy/Garfield-like disposition; not really passionate or excitable.

The upstanding square would be more-or-less on equal footing with the schemer as far as having the short end of the stick. There'd be a lot of banter between the two, both making funny quips at each other's expense, but the schemer would ultimately have a more dominant personality. The schemer would obviously instigate a lot of their high-jinks, but the square will sometimes inadvertently make things worse.

The happy-go-lucky dumbass would basically be pure comic relief. He'd blindly follow the schemer's plans, but often ruin/complicate things with his obliviousness (frustrating the schemer). He'd get hurt on occasion, but not nearly as much as the schemer. Many of the gags would involve him saying or doing silly things.

Okay, cool. Hm...I say go for the dumbass. Seems to have the most comedic potential.
