I have a good relationship with my parents btw.

Your parents should treat you like the adult you are, and likewise, you should be acting like an adult. Respect the rules of the house in which you live.

I remember my parents flipped out on me because i stayed out all night at a girls house. I was 25 at the time. Blew up my phone, embrassed me in front of the girl. I got home and got yelled at like crazy.

I moved out the following week.

Never left. I never done things like this before so it's all new. It's mostly about me having a gf for the first time lol.

He has a good relationship with them. If he's respectful to them in the ways that count, he should be able to put his foot down here. Ya'll just enabling overbearing parents. Let the man live. Imagine how it looks to a chick, when you can't even put your foot down to your parents curfew >_>. C'mon bruh. Take em out to dinner and break the news. Break the news that it's changing and they gotta just let you do your thing. Unless you think they'd kick you out. In that case, you gotta bite the bullet lol

Certainly. It is their house and as any guest should you should follow their rules as long as they are within reason.

I personally think a 30 year old having to have a curfew is a bit much but hey, you guys are all adults so maybe you guys can compromise a bit

Im pleasantly surprised by how respectful this topic has been towards the idea of being 30 and still living with parents.
