I had more fun with Ghosts than with BotW, so...

Killmonger has a lot of political and racial commentary behind his motivations that isn't usually there in the MCU. Vulture is the closest with his beliefs about the divide between the lower and upper class.

Killmonger brings the racial divide and oppression angle which really adds something unique. The cool thing about him is that being black is a large part of his character. It wouldn't be the same without it. Similar to Magneto living through the holocaust as a Jewish child.

The only best thing BP contributed to the MCU was having a fleshed out villain with top notch cgi and chereography. Its still formulaic and predictable for a MCU movie.

some of the cgi was good

but man the green screen in some scenes was straight awful, at least in IMAX <_<

Killmonger was legit amazing. Tbh I was kind of hoping they wouldn't kill him off as I thought there was still a ton of potential left to flesh him out even more, but this on its own was still great

Or Loki finding out he's the child of an opposing faction whose father was killed by Odin in battle and taken back to asgard to be raised by said family.

Or Tony having to fight Steve.

Or Steve choosing to defend a friend who involuntarily killed another friends parents.

I mean, there are quite a few deep moments in these marvel movies.

BP is no exception.

Actually, there is a huge difference that you missed. Black Panther isn't a movie filled with shitty one liners that are meant to reduce tension and make you believe that you are "enjoying" the film. Black Panther's scene is more emotional because it actually lets the scene play out instead of cutting it short with some shitty witty one liner

I worked at a school and it always seemed that once you have established your lesson plan, it'd be a pretty easy and fun job. >_> Now getting that lesson plan down could be tough, I'm sure. But they tended overall not to move people around to different classes often at the school. I'm sure sometimes there is work to do at home but they also seemed to have a decent number of breaks--in elementary, kids going to recess or gym or lunch or band or computer class, and most middle and high school teachers had a couple free periods and a couple study halls. Maybe the school I worked at was an anomaly, though.

It's the first time it's happened with WWE HoF nominations but I generally stay away from WWE boards Mondays and Tuesdays since I can't watch live and sports boards if I can't watch live for one reason or another.

What do you mean by "wakanda/black panther thing"? I get why it's been very popular. But I don't understand why people are calling it a great film. I think it's actually incredibly mediocre. Like on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a score of 97%, which I don't get at all. But then again, I think the vast majority of Marvel movies are incredibly mediocre.

I mean the stuff where people are starting to greet each other based on how they do it in the movie, trying to draw real life parables from wakandan traditions and society, things like that

I mean it isn't that these things are unheard of or even bad, but typically I see it relegated to things like yeah, shitty anime or fantasy novels and only a smaller subset of people participate in such an obvious way. the broad acceptance of it just because it is the first time we have had an all black cast is what I find odd
