That's not really true. It's like saying we should easily have mastered fusion because we can do fission.

Creating an atmosphere isn't the same as repairing one, which is why proposals to terraform mars mostly involve doing the things that are causing climate change here, over there, but on purpose.

Improve? No. Invent? Yes.

He was the one with the original idea, he was the one that took on all of the risk starting up a new business and did all of the leg work early on to make it succeed. He was the one with the singular vision that drove the company to where it is now. If any random person could create an Amazon, there would be more Amazons.

And my follow-up question, is if you're arguing that drastic changes to wealth wouldn't have an impact on these people, then tell me who these people are in Europe? Why is it that all of their biggest companies are oil and auto companies? Where is their apple, or Facebook, or Microsoft, or Tesla, or Amazon? Why is the EU almost entirely devoid of innovation in the private sector?

I'll never turn down a good movie just because it is in a dumb Cinematic Universe. If over time enough of those good movie these happens to chain together to form a good Cinematic Universe, then all the better. Claymores can't be nerfed, there's already a perk to reduce the damage from them. The problem is the maps, there are 500 corners and nooks to hide claymores (or otherwise just camp) AND you can get a perk to regen them over time (ie: while camping)

The first step to fixing the game starts with completely changing all the maps to be less of a clusterfuck of random objects to hide in, but I don't see that happening

I have no idea how these are actually the same dudes who made the first Modern Warfare games

They've nerfed them before. Just change the perk to allow "regen" by picking them off corpses but only if said player also had one and add more delay to the trigger so if they're right on a corner you can sprint past and take nonfatal damage.

People just need to stop spouting BS because they agree with one side of the argument. You can't repeat endlessly that the child should be able to choose, and then instantly reject videos of the child making a choice because you don't like it. People on this particular case have claimed that the jury's ruling was proof that given all the evidence one side was right, and now that the judge is overruling that having seen the same evidence people are arguing that the judge is wrong.

As others have said, none of us are in the courtroom so the only thing anybody is doing with regards to this kid is picking and choosing which pieces of evidence reaffirm their predetermined decision and then hand-waving away everything that doesn't agree with it. It's one of the reasons why I haven't commented on this case even though there have been probably a dozen topics on it.

Can kids be coached through a video? Of course. That doesn't mean that we should automatically assume the kid was. Kids can also be coached through how to answer questions to an expert (link below), too. We're just not assuming that this kid has the way people are automatically assuming he is in the other videos. If a month ago there was a video of the kid saying they wanted to be a girl, you'd all be jumping up and down claiming it's irrefutable proof of the kid's intentions, not saying it was probably doctored.

This is about the employees, who likely have no say in those types of decisions. Their morale is low because they are probably fans of the series, and knew people would be pissed, but we're only given the time, money, and direction from management to do what they ended up doing. So of course they would be down. They're probably just as disappointed as the fans.

Both parties get to have soundbites though, so this is probably not an actual reason. I'd say the second reason would be to destroy the fake Trump talking point that this is an illegal coup being conducted in private.

Oh, I wasn't implying that the sound bytes thing was beneficial to one party or another. Just that public hearings like this tend to be 99% theatrics with people standing up and acting indignant while asking questions that are barely relevant to the matter at hand.

Although being able to hit confirm into a special, while on paper sounds amazing, probably isn't going to have much of an impact in smash.

Plus he's going to have the same issue that Ryu has with auto facing forward. It's a giant problem in games with more than two people.
