Sounds like burnout plus imposter syndrome.

Every teacher goes through this, trust me.

If you dont like it, you can leave.

But the longer you stay, the more skills and communication abilities you will pick up. Teaching isnt really something you come out of college knowing. You learn the basics there, and then learn how to do everything after years of successes, mistakes, tons of bad students, one or two students who care enough, and finally realizing thats just how school is.

I say stick with it and see how you feel.
I do fel a lot of similarites between teacher and my job. teachers might have it more rough tho!

@Jiek_Fafn

you are absolutely right , i learned this a few months ago where its been. well once I get this position it will be different or once I get his position I will be more motivated etc etc and that was a fucking lie to myself etc. there's parts that I love about the job then other parts I really don't like at all, the parts i thought I didn't like I thought it would be tolerable once I got my own type of head job, but I learned i need to work on myself

also want to mention
doesn't help that I have 1-2 bad eggs that some days are difficult to deal with, I already have a shortened roster , all my friends said to get rid of the cancer player or players that make life difficult which is true ubt then I would legitimately have only have 2-3 players as substitute so im trying to just gut out the year..

You speak like a very wise person. with excellent questions. I can bring in my own staff midway through this season or next year. the parts I find enjoyable are some but some are very rough and tough at practice,

I feel exhausted since I know things to work on and what to work on and I do it bit by bit. so many coaches are lazy and let things slide and the last week i feel im slipping on that since ive been lethargic. I used to love going to practice and plan it out. but lately I just want it to be over , this is common with coaches when you haven't recruited your full team but man..my work ethic needs to be better.

one of my peers who coach's same sport at same college said that he thinks im not having fun and can see it on my face and overstressed too much for the amt of pay they are giving me he said there is no pressure and to just have fun with it and make the most of this year and like you said, work on your weaknesses its my first head job and make the most out of it

I am a collegiate sport coach.

this is something i wanted to do for a long long time. I got hired to this position a month before school started

sadly, I am away from family and it has hurt me plus the fact that the team I am coaching is very bad( I knew this coming in well aware an braced myself, everyone told me when i got hired what I was in for and I thought I was ready) , I don't have the motivation and passion I once had and my work ethic has not been good last month, my higher ups are saying i am doing a great job an dway better than he ast coach but any of us could have done a better job.

all my peers said my first year here would be tough and they've been supportive and told me to just get by this year and itll get better plus they all think ive been working hard ( i personally know i haven't)

I dont feel motivated to continue doing the work and with the season coming up i feeling overwhelmed and just not up for it due toall the things and travel come with

my close friends say Ive always wanted this so to have fun, try to enjoy it and at the end of the season I can always reassess but idk

One thing is for damn sure tho, over the last 6 months one thing I learned is, I need to work on myself

Question3 : Are birds real? /s

1) I take this as an evolution question. If oxygen levels ever somehow rise to what it was then we would absolutely see some potential new megafauna types. Maybe. Over the course of 50 million years but to say they would be dinosaurs I would say like new type dinosaurs but not Dinos people billion years ago will call them not dinosaurs but something else for our time period

2) megladon type is about what scientists say it is and that was a big marine animal. What about Spinosarus if you want to call that soemwbat marine. Altho didnt live in water

Remmeber oxygen levels are very very very important if we want to talk about evolving and if things can ever be as big as they once were etc

No. Any given species will become extinct due to evolution in a few million years assuming it isn't killed off by some other means. But birds are alive and we'd have a much different variety of birds than we do today if there was no asteroid.
AS i SAID ABOVE, i disagree

the simple fact that they lived through harsher conditions for 200+ milions years sure the climate is tougher so they wont be as bad but we would haev seen more evolved forms

What was up with all the megafauna stuff? How did it go away? Were there any confirmed insects or animals that lived during this period, or was it mostly "vegetation" in a basic sense?

Question #2: You're in the prime of your life and suddenly know a lot about wilderness survival and isolation camping etc. What is the scariest ancient era you could be dropped into?
@c-zom

1) think of mammals that lived WITH dinosaurs, in the early triassic and through triassic some dinos were extinct and are mammals but 50-75 millions years ago would be categorized as dinosaurs. think of that evolution wise if that makes sense. wish I could remember it but there was one mammal that in triassic was a dinosaur but over time evoled to be a mammal living undergrounds, thin of like a squirrle type.

2) as I said above, i would hate to see dragonflys the size of a crow or an eagle!! same with other insects and spiders.

id wither away in any non internet time period XD

to get technical and no fun with you, it would be tough for human body RIGHT NOW to live in the jurassic period due to the obv climate and methane of most eras outside the one we are in now.

nobody has asked why things /creatures are bigger than they are now and the answer to that question is simply oxygen, in jurassic time period especially , they claim there was 10-30% more oxygen which is insane for growth and development

@dameon_reaper

there are many theories going from aliens to plant colliding..
i am no space expert at all and didn't really care but before i think in hadrean era or prior there might have been a planed that colided with earth and a piece of that today is the moon in short.
that is in a very condesned explanation what a lot of people think the moon was formed,

so think of saturn ring.

also if every millions of years there is always rocks and asteroids hitting earth throughout the time periods I mentioned , some small, and some..as we know..quite meanicingly and would singe handledly sometimes change earth

some say that is due to that early impct with that plant to the sun is why there were A LOT of changes during first 2 eras due to more frequent asteroids(every 10-30 mil years) as oposed to every 50 mil years later for xpample/. they wre remnants and debris of that impact/Collison

How do you feel about the internet's dismissal and disparagement of newer theories that dinosaurs were covered in feathers because of their love for an 80s Spielberg movie
@Doe

this is actually something that was known for awhile, after the jurassic periods tehre were some dinos after pangea split where the same dino in lets say africa could be scaly but raptors or the same dino in what we call russia today have slightly more feathers!

evolution at work since the colder the area the more you have to adapt right you cant just have scales or retile skin completely

I can go on and on but its actually not as new since the new claims doesnt lways take acount again, that dinosaurs were tehre during triassic and through curtaceous period so ofc over course of 200 mllion years adaptions would occur

in short, a lot of experts knew this for the dinos after the jurassic period once pangea split, and the reason for some to have more feathers or diff skin is simply due to evolution becuae of the climate being chaned due to pangea now being split apart if that makes sense.

its just that some are saying raptors AHVE ALWAYS had feathers for example, which, depending on the area nd timeframe you can argue for and against in a microcism snapshot but entirety, its both true and false
