| pojr 09/18/22 5:37:21 PM #6 | i worked out for 4-5 months in 2021. some days were nice, but i really didn't enjoy it at all. it's hard to do something that you don't like. on top of that, i was not satisfied with my results after the 5 month period. i understand it was only a 5-month period, but that was a mostly shitty 5 months, and i feel like i should have had at least some kind of improvement. i felt like i worked my ass off too. the lack of results caused me to stop working out tbh. i'm not a muscle or nutrition expert, but i assume my genetics are the reason it was so difficult for me to build muscle. i naturally have very little upper body strength but good lower body strength. --- pojr I summon it. | pojr 09/14/22 9:17:15 PM #45 | alright time for an update. it all worked out well. last night, my supervisor called and said he would terminate this person over the phone. thank god. doing it over the phone is kinda weird, but better than ME doing it. this morning, i called HR again, and told them to disregard the call i made. so anyway, right around 6:45, my supervisor actually came in (rather than call), asked the person to come in the back room with him, and terminated him there. apparently they took it well, and even shook my hand and wished me good luck. it didn't end poorly like i thought it would. my supervisor came through. it was stupid he was going to have me do it, but at least he changed his mind. i believe he recognized i was very uncomfortable with doing it. i'm also glad he came in rather than call. --- pojr I summon it. We're firing this employee on Wednesday. He's lousy, has a bad attitude, doesn't follow basic policies, and has slowly pissed off all of us over the last few years. Before I go on, let me start by saying: I'm not a supervisor, I'm just an entry level employee. So what's the problem with all this? My supervisor wants me to fire this guy, because my supervisor's shift will already be over at that point, and I'm the only one there. So obviously this is wrong, but can I really do anything about this without risking my job? This is corporate America, I think if I tell my supervisor no, I risk losing my job. I also live in New York State, where it is completely legal to terminate without reason. I think everyone knows that corporate America does not play fair. To make matters worse, there was another non-supervisor who fired an employee a few months ago. And that person did it without any questions. So I'm going to look like a real asshole if I say no.
