The reason I bought an S8 was because it had a headphone jack and the iPhones didn't...

They brought out a new "A" phone (their mid-range, cheaper line) without a headphone jack, and leaked reports show the new S10 probably has a headphone jack. So basically it feels like they're treating this as a premium flagship feature you only get if you spend $1k+ on a phone.

Obviously samsung fans are furious.

This hasn't been the case in northern NJ since the late aughts. As long as you dress right for work, it doesn't even matter what you dress like outside of it. Hair can be anything. Pajamas were popular for a while.

Classic cut menswear hasn't really gone anywhere in nearly 70 years bar a few minor alterations here and there. At the same time that can get a little boring day in day out. At least it does for me.

The argument somewhat falls flat when the difference is that one has been given a very big, very widesweeping platform, whereas the others don't have much of a voice at all.

If you or I said something like that at work we'd probably be reprimanded too, perhaps severely. When Kevin Hart is in an interview he's doing his job. That's him plugging his own celebrity. He puts himself in the limelight, he can't say "please respect my private opinions" over opinions he voices very publicly.

Conservatism typically includes a respect for legitimate authority figures like police officers. That means that they believe you should be respectful toward those police and follow directions during the process, assuming the officer is also acting in accordance with the law.

That said, they also believe the citizenry should be able to own and operate firearms in the case that the government does become tyrannical. For example, if the government wanted to take away the right to own guns.

If they respected these authority figures as they should, should they not also respect the liberty of citizens to question their authority? It seems to me like conservatives often take issue with merely asking a question of an officer or not immediately complying with whatever they say.

Asking for someone to publicly retract a statement is the equivalent of a kid on the playground shouting "TAKE IT BACK!" and even if they do, it isn't genuine and everyone knows it. It's attempting to force someone to say something they don't believe as a power play.

I'm sure you also learned in the playground that you're actually responsible for the things you say and sometimes they have consequences. If you say something into a loudspeaker so that more people can hear it the consequences might be more severe than if you whispered it to your best bud in private.

I don't know what's hard to grasp here. Kevin Hart didn't break any laws with what he said and he won't be arrested, people are just expressing their opinion on the guy and what he said to them. You're not against people having their own opinions about celebrities, right?
