Women throughout history were treated basically like children or property and didn't have rights for a long time. In a lot of countries, women still don't have rights. I think LittleRoyal is exaggerating, no offense to her, but everyone saying women were treated poorly throughout history aren't wrong. And its not a competition on who was treated better or worse, I don't know why you keep making it seem that way.

Are women in modern America and most first world countries oppressed? Of course not. But they were for a long time and still are in a lot of places.

No its the way the media only really gives attention to white women complaining that all women were equally treated badly when probably their great grandma had "the help" and what not

Now why they say female politician should fix it? Idk. Many female politicians know about this stuff and do nothing to stop it. Supposedly the same is true for Hollywood, idk seems like a conspiracy though but with good points.

We arent taken seriously at schools or by professionals. In order to get far in life we have to use our sex. We arent treated as equals and people who say we are find the few rare exceptions of women who surpassed men in their field. Most of us cant do that, not due to ability, but because people wont listen to us, just based on our sex.
People refuse to take crimes against us seriously and often blame us for being raped or abused.

People turn a blind eye to issues as they happen (being catcalled, being belittled, bosses not paying attention to our accomplishments and just saying ok honey, being stalked or harrassed)

Just because men ignore, as do many famous women, doesnt mean it isnt out there happening often.

Lol all of that is wrong

I know, women are really just mad about the way women were treated more from 1900 and up.

Before that time, a lot of women didn't even do house work or anything, they had "the help"

Anyone who really knows southern history would know that only really were black women treated bad while other raced women got away with a lot as long as they just went along.
