I don't think it is inevitable but it is possible. The things you've listed have literally been prevalent in every society throughout their existence.

Anything you can imagine always tends to exist, even way back in history, the difference now is that people who would otherwise had been very unlikely to turn to doing certain things are doing so and even more so, many are doing it out of desperation kinda.

Also as I said before, it's getting to where the oligarchs are pillaging the currency and the current remaining wealthy are starting cults and doing things to flex and show they have control over us more and more.

IMO, I feel like there is a lot of quackery that is probably prevalent with psychologists and therapists. However, I feel people who have sought out therapy are probably people who probably care more about life.

I also find that in some cases like when it's warrented, that when parents seek therapy for their child, it shows they really care, especially when they don't just automatically take everything the psychologist/therapist says and advises and is very careful about it.

It's a balance, as is everything. Providing literally everything and making no attempt for them to attain self-sufficiency is bad and kicking them out the door at 18 is bad (though worse than coddling).

That's why i said it's bad when they help their kids too much, they need to make a balance.

For example, don't just give them a car or anything, make them work for whatever big extra hand outs they're going to give their kids and also have things you tell them you're expecting out of them that are realistic and so forth.

IMO, a lot of young adults these days are trying to home in everything instead of grinding their way up.

Their parents are obviously helping them out financially too much and they're becoming atrophy to the work world because they won't just "do it".

The fact that they are helped how they are is hindering them because not only are they not learning that you have to a lot of times grind your way up, but are also looking at how bad to do a lot of jobs are and have sold themselves into this idea of "I'll never do a job like" insert job here"! "

It's really bad and all they're going to do is end up in a lot of cases with so much of a mountain of shit they have to catch up on that the anxiety about it and their brain turning to mush would make it hard to figure they could do anything about it anymore.

So yes, IMO I think it's really bad when parents help their kids too much.

Uhhhh do you mean for the online assessment? I tried to walk a line of not just saying "do nothing let it go" but also not choosing the "run crying to the manager" option. Basically just show i could reasonably and ethically solve problems without burdening others

Well, I think at large it's because we gave up on the bottom up style economy and are suffering the vast extra growth we'd have in the career world because more people could afford many different services and things in life that would keep the economy thriving..

While many can still get a degree and a job, I'd say that the real reason why thats still as possible as it is, is more due to the struggle to get a higher education be it financially and or because of those who were not cut out for a higher education.

To me that proves not only that the economy would have been far better if it kept the old bottom up style economy rather than trickle down, but that most likely not that many people are actually lazy but that maybe a large chunk of those who appear lazy are really rather depressed and find the task of achieving success as too daunting for them.

But yeah, I believe most things would not have became that way if we had instead chosen to keep a bottom up economy.

You just need to have the most premier package.. There is still a ton of shit that comes on TV if you like TV enough that you watch also B list shows and educational things on national geographic or the Smithsonian channel and what not.

Plus the cable TV networks are being assholes, there is a ton of TBS, TNT and Comedy Central shows you're not going to see without cable really.

Sure, most of what you may want is on Hulu but they can't afford or even get the rights to all the other 10-15 plus shows that are coming on that go on TBS, TNT and Comedy Central.

That and again there is a ton of National Geographic, Discovery Channel and Smithsonian stuff you'll never see if you don't have cable either.

Again, my point is just to say cable is a lot better than what naysayers/cord cutters say, it's a good time to have cable again as there is a lot of brand new prime time cable TV again..
