I never understand why people don't pick happiness. Isn't the goal of being good at the other things to find happiness?

Happiness is the only currency actually worth something imo

As soon as I saw happiness I picked that. I don't desire much out of life but to be as happy as I was when I was younger.

I'm assuming it has something to do with unsafe or potentially harmful processes.

actually, there was a situation I was in where I forced myself not to get annoyed and it payed off. hard to explain, but there was a bus that was being driven slightly erratically that I was stuck behind. this was on a "main road" where there's no stop signs, a parking lane, and a single driving lane.

I knew not to get annoyed since it would only lead to me doing something stupid. but it kept driving slow, would enter the oncoming traffic lane slightly, would enter the parking lane slightly and could almost have hit some parked cars or oncoming traffic.

eventually it made it to the next bus-stop which is at a T intersection (if T is the intersection we're travelling left.) there were two crosswalks. I _wanted_ to angrily pass the bus now that it was pulling over into the bus-stop but I forced myself to follow the "don't pass in a crosswalk" rule so I made sure not to go through the crosswalk until the bus did. it was hard to tell since the bus-stop is almost at the same place as the crosswalk.

trying to make sure the bus crossed the crosswalk first, it ended up NOT entering the crosswalk, and only because I was barely paying attention to that I came to a stop right next to it at the crosswalk. and then a kid on a scooter zipped in front of me out from in front of the bus... yikes.

A kid(may have been 2) here died like that.

I never got people getting mad at other drivers passing them and speeding. He's gone ahead now, who fucking cares? if he's reckless and gets into an accident, at least there's distance between us now. If someone's aggressively trying to pass me (usually zoom up and immediately start trying b/c normally I'll pull to the other lane or speed up or whatever if I notice them), I'll slow down a bit and just let 'em go. Bye... *shrug*

I kind of get tired of hearing about people being injured or yet another mother/father of 3 dying due to someone driving recklessly for no apparent reason. Maybe thats why those drivers bother me.

Well if you see someone and literally everything they post gets under your skin you're bound to form some animosity.

I either ignore those posters or avoid their topics. I have more than enough things to worry about in my "real life". Im not coming here to take on more stress.

Im confused by this myself. People will literally go into a topic just to argue with someone for hours on end. Some people even have "enemies". Imagine having an emeny on a fucking message board.

Let's not forget that a global pandemic also heavily impacted a ton of development cycles.

There's a show about this actually. I believe she had some kind of disorder that caused her to stop growing and she didn't age past 5 or 6.
