People are pointing to left-wing laws as being the reason for why crime is so high in the united states where criminals are being let off easy while theft and homicide rates are rising.

But Canada has even more lax laws than the US yet the crime and homicide rates pale in comparison...

The obvious reason being Canada has more SOCIAL SERVICES for people too where people are offered help like housing and hospitals.

America doesn't want to pay for that so that's why they will continue this cycle until they get their act together

She didn't hesitate to jump into the freeze waters at Arapahoe County Pond when she saw 3 kids, aged 4, 6 and 11 fall through the ice....

She managed to pull 2 of the kids out on her own before a teen relative pulled the third child where first responders had to perform CPR on the child who thankfully survived after being rushed to hospital.

The judge didn't accept his explanation that he entered Canada because POLITICAL UNREST and violence in his state claiming "As a Caucasian citizen of the United States of Jewish faith" who experienced intimidation, harassment and threats or violence there because of his race and religion from BLM protests who were targeting white people and he feared he would be KILLED.

He also felt given his age and medical conditions he would be much safer from COVID in canada than the US but the judge said he would have been well aware that COVID is a global pandemic

She called his actions selfish and he flagrantly disregarded canadian law by re-entering canada 20 minutes after he left and ignored health restrictions and protocols.

US Border Patrol said they arrested Johnston for illegally entering the country on FOOT near Plentywood after they were requested to track down someone lost near the Montana/North Dakota state line

A person found "wandering" around was later identified as Johnston, who is a canadian fugitive

He was taken back to the border and to the RCMP and into custody as Johnston told through his lawyer, Ian McCuaig that he wass seeking political asylum due to treatment he has experienced over the eyars of political persecution for his right-wing views by the Canadian Government

He said he's served 5 months in prison for what he called for his "conservative" views and his hate for certain groups of people, particularly muslims and middle eastern people

He was convicted back in July on 2 counts of contempt after spending months inciting his followers to defy alberta's public health measures and then threatening an alberta health services inspector and causing a disturbance over mask wearing protests

He was ordered to stop defaming restauranteur Mohamad Fakih after repeatedly calling him a terrorist and baby killer. Fakih is known in the community for his charitable acts such as distributing thousands of free meals to frontline workers but Fakih said it was an act to show fake kindess and accuses his "people" of having ulterior motives to take over the country

Johnston was hoping to seek asylum in the US calling it the "land of the free" where conservative views are not silenced and the freedom to call out people of colour who are NOT friendly to western nations and that Canada is oppressive to these views.

The CW might get a new majorit owner after 15 years when co-buyers ViacomCBS and Warner Brothers are considering selling their majority stake after years of low profitability and a move to streaming services which is where the networks seem to want to go. Sources caution that this is still in the early stages and nothing is imminent yet but Nexstar Media Group, which is the CW's largest affiliate group is the leading contender to take ownership....

This also comes just as WarnerMedia is being acquired by Discovery pending regulatory approval

CW Chairman, Mark Pedowitz confirmed the rumours with a memo to staff writing "As many of you are aware, over the past year or so, this transformative time in our industry has led to a series of business activity across media and content companies. Given that environment right now, ViacomCBS and Warner Bros are exploring strategic opportunities to optimize the value of their joint venture in The CW Network"

He warned it's too early to speculate what will happen but the CW, which caters to a young adult audience has defied expectations getting to 15 years many would have predicted would fold or move to cable early on. It's worked because of its unique set up. While the CW has never been profitable as a stand alone entity, it has created value for its studio parents providing US broadcast distribution for shows they can exploit internationally and on streaming such as Riverdale, All American, Gossip Girl, Walker, Dynasty and Jane the Virgin.

They would stil retain minority ownership and supply the network with its in house shows

Pedowitz touted for more original programming than ever with its saturday expansion but the future of its most popular shows such as it's DC properties is in doubt as it could move to HBO Max or Paramount+ should they sell off to Nexstar which is what most seem to think it is following with streaming being the future and a move away from broadcast..
