Some probably will think that for sure. The casual audience's ability to misinterpret what they see should not be underestimated, lol. It reminds me of my mom watching X-Men: First Class and thinking Emma Frost was Mystique and Shaw was Magneto.

I lived with my great grandma growing up, so she was sorta like a second mom to my brother and me. Our inheritance was the leftover money from her putting the house up for reverse mortgage (by then my mom and I had moved out and into an apartment), split three ways. It's not a ton but it's at least a cushion for if things go bad.

It's not Loki existing at all that's the thing, so much as how will they explain how he gets from the end of Loki S1 to wherever he's popping up next. Unless the TVA itself is showing up in Strange 2 or something, which could certainly happen.

It's hard to know for sure until Doctor Strange comes out, but I'm still a little doubtful that the Disney+ shows will really be required viewing. I still expect the movies to be written in a way where viewers will still be able to understand 99% of things without watching the TV shows.

Like yes technically Loki ended with a huge game changer that sets up the events of Phase 4 going forward, but at the same time I'm sure the movies will introduce the multiverse in a sufficient manner all on their own.

The only questionable thing right now is how they'll handle Loki showing up again in a movie. Other characters like Monica and Walker should be easy to re-introduce in the movies. I guess White Vision could be complicated if he ever shows back up.

Ha, this is funny. I thought Neo's battle system was oversimplified, though also I'm not going to judge it too much based on the first two days. It wasn't bad or anything though, I was just expecting more.

I've been reading plenty of impressions of people who got the game early, and it sounds like the battle system gets a lot more involved later on. First of all you don't even have all the party members by the time the demo ends, so even just getting that fourth character apparently makes a world of difference. Tons of different pin combinations and synergies with how they work together. Also reports of people having their asses handed to them by future bosses (on hard mode, anyway).

But also in general, response to the game as a whole has been immensely positive from what I'm reading. People saying it's everything they could've hoped for in a TWEWY sequel.

I don't know if I'd say I've had the full blown paralysis experience, but every now and then there'll be a morning where I've woken up but drifted back to sleep, and I'll have dreams where I'm lying in bed as if I was awake and odd things might happen. Sometimes it's just as simple as feeling like I can see through my eyelids, other times it'll be something mundane like my partner or someone else talking to me and it feels plausible. Usually there's something odd about it, but it doesn't really register as odd or impossible until I've woken up again and think about it for a bit.

The other day though, it was happening and my mind started thinking about sleep paralysis (I had recently read someone else talking about it, so I guess it was fresh in my memory), and I think I kinda made it happen like a lucid dream. But I still was aware it was happening, so I didn't even try to move or anything. In it, some random vague woman just kinda got up real close and personal by my face. I closed my eyes but could still sense her presence. It wasn't scary, because I was still aware of what it was and how that's the kind of thing people talked about experiencing, but it was still disconcerting. I was able to just think like "wow okay no more of that" and it went away, though.
