Not true. Human nature is to feel good, people's craftiness is what causes all the wasteful minds concocting ways to get rich and laugh at others.

Yea, neither did I know what to expect. I imagine all those little holes housed a hornet at some point. Humans aren't the only species who know how to do construction, and I'd like to see an apartment building that looks like this

They have a hierarchy as well, so I wonder how that played into the construction.

I went with Hank Hill cause he seems more realistic. He doesn't involve his kid in his job, he taught Bobby some respect so he didn't become an unlikeable character like a bully, and that time he punked off that pimp for Luanne and saw something wrong when a bunch of dirty old men went to her bible study just to gawk at her, I found to be touching television moments.

I used to have sheep, Babydoll Southdowns. They look like little fluffy teddy bears. Don't let anyone tell you sheep are all alike because each of mine had a unique personality. One ewe was a loner, never wanted to hang out with the others. Another was a natural leader and would aggressively defend her flock. Our first ram was incredibly affectionate and would come up to you and beg for attention, but if you ignored him he'd get mad and headbutt your leg. The second ram (the first one's son) was a jerk and always tried to bully the other animals. This ended badly for him when he pushed the donkey too far. The donkey kicked him hard and broke his leg. It healed but not correctly and he had a limp the rest of his life. That kind of toned down his aggression.

That's some Disney stuff right here! :P

Some girl said she was in love with a guy and I was like "you're twelve, you don't know what being in love means."

Frankly, that depends on their level of maturity. Don't forget that it has only been a couple of centuries since 12-year-old girls were expected to be married and sent off to live with their spouse as a matter of course in *most* countries. Maturity is more relevant than chronological age, but unfortunately harder to measure.

Yea but people back then were so poor you'd trade your daughter for a wagon

Some of the most depressed people are the richest.

Most of the most scared people are.

There's a vice documentary on this very thing. In New Zealand, rich people mainly from America are building nuclear armageddon bunkers that look like small apartments. They build them below houses in case of the apocalypse. It's so selfish and hilarious at the same time cause the locals are looking at it it's like wtf? Those houses are virtually uninhabited and it goes to show how wasteful and fearful most rich people really are.

Being a chef is sweaty work, ain't no cheating in that profession. It also involves math, reading, people skills, patience, etc. It also involves a lot, and I mean a lot, of work experience.

yeah i'm honestly waiting to see her get her first kitchen job. i've worked in a kitchen, a real one very briefly, but fast food can be exhausting as fuck too. i'm betting she will crumble under the pressure. doesn't give me high hopes for her that she absolutely refuses to work any fast food places despite wanting a job while shes still in highschool. hell i've even tried telling her the odds of them putting a young girl like her in the back where slim, she still said she didn't want to deal with fast food.

We were talking about tablets and books and stuff. People who read books tend to have longer attention spans than people who play with computers.

that is true. she can't even watch her favorite tv show without checking her damn phone and missing critical plot points.

As I said before ITT, computers are extremely addictive. So now we have people walking around staring down at a little rectangle. I see it all the time in my city. It's annoying cause they have no perception to what's going on around them.

what I find weird, is i've seen the proof its not a strict generational thing, her dad is just as bad at missing shit in tv shows/movies cause he was looking at his phone. me though whos in a age group between them (he had kids late in life) don't have this problem, hell i'm bad about forgetting my cell phone when I leave home. and honestly a little while back my cell stopped working, I haven't bothered getting it replaced yet.

I always keep my phone around, but I sometimes turn it off when I'm trying to sleep cause when I get a phone call, even if I don't know who it is, I have a habit of answering it unless I'm with someone.

I prefer voice chat over texts. It's so much easier to get a point across.

my step sister doesn't get a book or a tablet. teacher just teaches them and expects them use a personal computer or device at home for homework. school went cheap here.

That's good, it really depends on the school district and whether you live in a fancy area or not. I think kids should be give apples and told to go do something, the complete institutionalization of education in my opinion has caused kids to turn into dumb adults.

uhh its not good. hell some of my step sisters classes are online only. guess what she does.... cheats on every damn thing.

then doesn't like it when I ask her history based questions and then laugh at her when she can't answer. despite currently taking history.

Girls have a different perspective on education. Women love trying to wear the pants, of course this has led to the downfall of every society that subjected itself to it thus far.

??? whats that got to do with what I said. cheating is a different perspective on learning? she literally copies and pastes her answers in half the time

Whatever. If that's what she's learning through her education, how to be a proficient cheater, then good luck to her I guess.

Are college kids really taught extreme leftism, or is it just media propaganda?

middle step sister came back extremely liberal and shes not even done yet. don't know if its the teachers or just other students being very vocal and influencing others.

I think high school and college or whatever are the peaks of some people's lives. It's also a hotbed for groupthink.
