It starts out slow but if you find it ok initially power through to Arlong Park arc. If you dont like it by then you wont.

Great characters, Great overarching plot. It feels daunting with how long it is, but youll catch up quickly and then wish there was more.

Ah I see.

I'd recommend checking out A Certain Scientific Railgun. The earlier chapters are kinda slow and more focused on school shenanigans, but once the Accelerator/Sisters arc starts it gets really good.
