Speaking of, I kind of hated that shulk was basically required in every party.

Not a top complaint, but there are at least 4 characters I would rather have in my party at all times that I felt I couldnt

Speaking of disney

https://wdwnt.com/2021/02/breaking-walt-disney-world-updates-face-mask-policy-for-restaurants-to-require-guests-to-wear-a-mask-even-at-their-table/

Once they upped capacity I stopped going, but this is why I didnt mind going to Disney back in September and October. They have tons to lose.

20 years after the ps2 Nintendo has figured out people like open world games

As long as they don't go full ubisoft. I used to think I hated open world and now I think I just hate open world where the only point of the open world is just to find trinkets.

BotW is incredible because who the hell knows what you will find

Are we thinking this crash recovers soon? I know it was caused mainly by Treasury bonds, just wondering if all these stocks I'm bullish on aren't even worth it if the entire market keeps crumbling in unison. I guess my thinking that avoiding the blue chip stocks would avoid the biggest percentage of red in case of a crash wasn't really accurate huh?

Maybe I should just pull out if I get back in the green soon on some of my investments. Pull out all my money and buy back in later on everything that doesn't have an expected catalyst soon.

That and recovery stocks, those have already taken off a good deal and if they keep coming back, definitely want to get in on them before it's too late. But today wasn't even a good day for those.

The problem with this is it could dead cat bounce tomorrow for all you know and pulling out tomorrow is better than pulling out today. Repeat ad nauseum

Not only is open immigration itself leftist, but jumping straight there is a huge leap when the US's immigration system is already very conservative. Advocating for any left policies at all is already going to have to run up against nationalism and conservatism. If your point is that we shouldn't accept nationalism in exchange for left policies then yeah but this shit is not mutually exclusive.

Jumping there isn't any more radical than jumping to free healthcare. It just isn't as championed

Which "far-left policies" are you talking about? Because Canada is right next to the US doing plenty of things that are considered "radical" ideas here without that stuff.

Free college and nationalized healthcare mostly.

And I'm pretty sure canada doesn't have open immigration

I feel like far left policies are impossible without heavy nationalism and exclusionism. I would rather have open immigration than free college.

Man I'm looking at the options action on GME and I can't help but think this is a huge hedge fund pump and dump designed to trap WSBers this time around. The calls and puts out there seem like they've been cornered too well, feels like that day RH banned trading. I dunno. Inorganic feels right for sure.

I noticed the same thing. There were buys and sells all day until the end when there was just a massive buying spree out of nowhere

SOMEONE orchestrated this

It's Lincoln/Breckenridge, but I think Trump/Clinton has a good claim to being the #2 on this poll even when you discount recency bias.

I think the roots of Trump stretch way farther back to Newt Gingrich and Trump just made them obvious. If it wasnt trump in 2016 I bet it was someone trumplike in 2020. Beating a sitting Hillary would probably have been a cakewalk with coronavirus.

Yeah, I thought the story of xenoblade chronicles to be one of the highlights... at least for the first 90% of it, and by then at least it kept me around till the end. There are a few truly baffling Shulk choices but other than that I thought the characters were pretty engaging.

From what I understand, the Switch version makes sidequests a lot less tedious. There are tons of them, but I didn't really mind because they were fairly easy to complete.

Oh, I played on switch. Them being fairly easy to complete is one of the problems. There are 400 of them, and so me zoning out taking 5 minutes to do one is over 30 hours of straight up work.

I just wanted them to be more interesting, or harder, or not required for late game unlocks. Literally any of those options.

Wow didn't expect such a consensus on yes, I will definitely turn that on then. Figured it might be intended for veterans, was it added in the Definitive Edition?

Thanks for all the info! I see already there's... a lot of sidequests!

I think Im the resident hater of xenoblade chronicles and this is why. I honestly think I would be in the consensus that it is a top game if you just removed 3/4th of them and replaced them with nothing.

Yeah if they maintained their mass, then lugging the lab around would be impossible.

Movie doesn't even try to make sense. I find Dr. Strange style "Magic" Way more immersive because at least then I can go with it not supposing to make sense. I find Ant Mans inconsistent "science" incredibly immersion breaking.
